How about Aruba? Someplace I can take my wife and have some "fun" on the beach.
Actually, Ugobe has warned users that Pleo's skin will develop "wear patterns." Hmmm m ...
Looks like somebody has a date with Samus!
Here goes nothin'
I'm fairly certain the PVC *is* included. As per the website, the only thing you need to provide is, "PVC cement, soldering iron, wrenches, drill, scissors, battery charger, or TV monitor"
I'm looking forward sticking it to Verizon and switching to ATT.
Ugobe is playing a fine line here. This is the second reported price increase, and at least the 2nd release delay. If they aren't careful they'll end up where plenty of other companies have - over promising and under performing.

Here's hoping they don't end up that way though. Pleo definitely ranks very highly on the 'cute list'. I looks like I'll be buying two, since the fiancee said I couldn't hack her's up.

*sigh* ... $600 ....

I'm going with Pleo
Halo 2, of course.
Mirwy,

You seem to have missed the huge point (unless, of course, you're joking) - it's a PC. You can put whatever OS on it you want. I believe the Player/Stage software (http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/) runs on Linux and there's also the possibility of doing your own custom software.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
