Right. Excuse me while I log onto Kazaa, Audiogalaxy, and Scour.
The best way to install wireless drivers when there isn't one included by default is to find the windows xp version of the driver, and use ndiswrapper. Using ndiswrapper requires the terminal but it's simple, and the necessary packages are included on the live cd. You can search google for installing a driver with ndiswrapper.
Ludwig doesn't do it for ya? Weirdo.
I'm not so sure that it's supposed to bring up an address bar. If this is for an actual kiosk, that particular function wouldn't be necessary.
I'm a pretty short/slim guy, and they NEVER have enough small jeans. Where do you shop?
I thought the same thing. For reference, it takes over 45,000 liters of helium to lift 100 lbs. That balloon was too small to even lift a child. I don't understand why the police or the media didn't consider it.
I think it's hilarious. "Here, you can have this person. We REALLY REALLY need that rabbit!"
How can this game be coming out in around two months, and we still don't have a release date? I fully expect it to show up on shelves any random day in November or December, and Konami saying, "oops, we forgot to tell you!"
You guys are way too hard on the content sometimes. If you don't want to read it, don't read it! If this blog wants to branch out with their articles, I say go for it.
I wasn't aware that Windows (even 7) "just works". On all of my computers, I've had to track down drivers (on my ATI card, I actually had to edit a driver file to make it work correctly). I've been following Ubuntu releases for a while, and now I'm running Karmic Beta. This is the first release where EVERYTHING on my main notebook works perfectly OOTB.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
