There were 2 companies I know of developing this tech. 3DV in isreal and edge 3 technologies in the US.
When this gets even better is with a 3-d television where then you can actually control objects in "3-d" and not just 2-d. I played with one of the edge 3 technologies demos with a prototype 3-d television and it was amazing.
I guess MS acquired 3dv. Cant wait to have a fighting game that utilizes this tech.
