It does make calls, I don't understand where is the confusion, the clearest evidence is the dial/hang up keys, and the mic below the alphanumeric keypad, what else can that be for?

it runs on PHS network, just like the rest of the W-ZERO3 series which can all make voice calls. WM6 classic does not support VOIP that's it, don't freak out.
so the leaked picture was completely wrong, but the leaked specifications were completely right. i was trying to trace where those specs came from, couldn't find it, just popped out of nowhere from your source, but not your source's source (itMedia japan?)
the 912SH has a wide-VGA 480*800 display, not just VGA, you should have asked the engadget japan folks to help you with this

besides, this story is already so outdated, the press con was done a week ago? u guys can do better than that.
Uta-hodai is not simply a "full track download" (which could have been just the ther 2 services: chaku-uta full or napster-to-go) but a music-on-demand service with fixed monthly charge

some of you need to brush up your Japanese
or read the English press release carefully
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
