And the answer to that question is noise.
I'm sure you all feel better about yourselves now that you've had a chance to judge other people you know very little about. I'd bet Alec Baldwin is well aware of the mistake he made in talking to his daughter that way and feels bad about what he did. You all become polarized and take one side or the other without even attempting to understand what motivates people to do such things. Perhaps projecting your own anger due to issues that happened to you in your own life. Way to go. Well, as long as you feel better about yourselves right. Feel superior to a fellow fallible human being. You don't need to know the whys and wherefores to pass judgement. That would take too much effort. The human mind is a complex thing. Sometimes people don't act like they normally would. Ever feel tired and cranky, or experience low blood sugar? These are but a few of the chemical imbalances that can cause erratic behavior in otherwise normal individuals. But that's ok, you don't need to have any understanding, empathy or compassion. What will you get out of that? Certainly not a feeling of false superiority over another. Although, you might actually BE superior then. But who will notice in our brainless, self centered intolerant, egotistical, sociopathic society? Me, that's who.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
