I think that what people perceive as the "internet" should really be called "the visible internet". It's the part that people see on a daily basis. The .com realm. The side you're talking about, the data side, does indeed take up a majority of the broadband. A lot of people choose not to look past what they can see to what is really there though.
Now if only they would fix the E18 errors in about 50% of their point and shoot cameras, we'd have a good deal.
I'd like to have the Philips Norelco 7240XL. Why? Because I'm too damn cheap and lazy to actually buy one for myself. That's why!
I believe Tom is right. While there are many that do it for "the love of bookmarking" there are just as many that will see others getting paid for it and either stop bookmarking altogether or cut back because they aren't getting paid.
It's a spectacular marketing ploy isn't it? viral marketing at its finest. I'm intrigued though. What is it exactly. All signs point to it being a mobile networkable cell/email/etc... device of some sort. NSC's project site has a pretty picture of a orange Origami. much better than the blue one in the comdex page.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
