musiciansfriend down from the.. um... ENGADGET effect?
NO MORE PHOTOSHOPS!!! Clearly a photoshop. Look at the light cast on the ceiling. It's not even centered to the text. The right side should be lit up MUCH more. It's just so fake. NO MORE!!!!
I vote real. Aspect ratio maybe something more like 16:10? This would make sense as you could still watch widescreen movies, but it would make for larger views of full screen... If this is it, it'd definatly explain why the ipod with video maxed out at 60GB when toshiba had introduced an 80GB version of the same size http://www3.toshiba.co.jp/storage/english/spec/hdd/mk8007.htm
This, in combination with the itunes upgrade (didnt we see one of these just before the ipod with video release?) and the supposed addition of full length movies from the itunes music store. Music and video sales have taken off since Christmas (excuse me, the "holidays") Jobs himself even said consumers werent interested in portable video. With the huge success of the ipod with video, what seems to be a way of testing the watters, it would make sense to release a line of pmps or iPod Videos. it all fits. This is definatly the most convincing photo I've seen in a while. The only thing that bothers me is that adapter... two cords and why's it squared where it meets the (supposed) ipod video? Maybe the posts before mine were right that think it's an in-house mac cable are right... I sure hope they are, because I'd hate to find out this is some sort of amazingly good fake.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
