This is a potentially intriguing gadget in an endless stream of new gadgets (and I do understand this technology convergence/"Swiss Army Knife-like" thing), however I still much prefer my dedicated cameras, knives, etc. to many of the multi-function devices out there these days. My Canon SLR digital cameras will still blow any camera phone way out of the water in terms of performance and quality results. Maxwell Smart's "Shoephone" was funny and somewhat interesting on the old television show, "Get Smart", but his other shoe which didn't have a phone in it worked much better as a shoe, and his dedicated phone worked much better as a phone than did the shoephone. As far as I see it, this "everything in a single device philosophy phenomenon is more about keeping the masses addicted to new stuff, than it is about practicality.
