at XGM,

"@ "Kamokazi" Shure it may have the 8800M GTX, but a 15" is just too small for a desktop replacement, while being too big to be easily portable.

With that said, lets compare a M9750 Alienware to a NP9262 from Sager"

What did you mean it's too big to be easily portable? It's 15 incher laptop which is portable compared to "With that said, lets compare a M9750 Alienware to a NP9262 from Sager". M9750 is heavier and bigger than m15x.

Did you realize that? And m15x is thinner than m9750 too. It's called technology, Mr caveman.

But at least you gave real example which is great. I hate to see typical comment about how Sager or Clevo is damn cheaper than Alienware bla bla. Thing is, like some other mentioned, Alienware has what others don't. So if Alienware is your company, why in this world wouldn't you charge a lil bit extra when you pioneered things? Be realistic, not some poor fact-twisting lil bastards who can't afford to buy AW and make fake news out of jealousy.

Facts are facts, and make it clear. It's Arima by the way, not Clevo anymore for Alienware. Keep spreading the words from now will ya. Thank you.
Where are you from ?

At the other side of the world, sim cards are dirt cheap (prepaid). I know here in the US prepaid is not cost-effective. So having 2 sim cards are nothing, just like how some of us here have more than 1 TVs or cars.

And it's very helpful to have 2 networks in 1 phone, cause sometimes (or places) AT&T drop calls like f***, that's when Verizon comes in-handy and vice versa.
I am hoping you guys will let us know the dimensions of Alienware brand new m15x! Please, engadget!
"... by the time keyboards like this exist we'll all be typing on shape-shifting tactile membranes overlaid on touchscreens. That is, if Apple's patents haven't already blocked everyone else off from going there."

Hi everyone.

Does Apple really have this technology or developing on it at the moment? I am curious and I would grateful if anybody could point out an article or site mentioning it.

Or is it just typical Engadget-every 5 minutes about Apple news related?

Did any of us notice the Esc key and F keys are way up from the "common" place? I thot it would be important for some of us here, at least to me.

Anyway, it looks cool but I'll pass. Too pricey for new-comer.
Delkin?

When first read I saw it as "Belkin"

Any word on the pricing?
Tim, I respect ur opinion but sorry to say the benchies saying the other way around. So it's either you take it too personally or Alienware just put their price a little too high. Nah it's not Alienware, it's you. I have to agree with Engadget, it is somewhat reasonable.

I mean seriously when I am one of the first to sell new technology in the market, I guess i will be doing the same.
ah cmon charles, u got me by seconds.
I truly agree. But don't know if you realize this, that's why they called it notebook on their site when it's too heavy and hot (for instance for the SLi version).

http://www.alienware.com/Product_Pages/notebook_all_default.aspx
too bad my friend, it is obvious you are talking about a different age. Alienware hasn't use Clevo since their first SLi mobile system, m9700 which make this one a third generation of SLi mobile from them.

Go ahead and rank me but that doesn't change the fact that they are improving and leading the mobile technology since Dell's bought them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
