Can you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if there was an Apple product with such a high failure rate. Sure every product has failures due to margin cutting and rushed production schedules but this is an amazingly high figure.

Leather palm rests what an EXCELLENT idea.
After a few weeks they will look very shabby and then some bright spark will use some shoe polish on them and things will only get worse. What are they thinking?

My 160GB classic works exactly as it should. No problems and it's a great device. Battery life is very impressive for a HDD based device.

Maybe if more than a few people had bought a Zune we would hear about their QA issues. I am sure M$ aren't perfect.

Updated to a Classic 160GB and my pre owned game Vortex works fine. No need to update.

Leather will look great for about 20 minutes then the palm rests will scuff and wear. The cover will get little cuts and scratches. Then some bright spark will use leather cleaner on it and we all know how that will go. About as useful as one covered in gingerbread (but not as tasty )
