Um Windows Vista Starter also exists.... hello? has everyone forgotten about that?

So its not another edition its just aimed at netbooks and might possibly come to the americas.... -.-
Oh how much my first gen Nano will hate me for this... bleh, won't matter, its a chance worth it, Sign me up!
Hmm.. Nah, I'll just strap my Ti-84 Plus.. much more useful as they've got a mod for it to replace it's internals with a GameBoy Color!

Now I can play Rally 98 everywhere! ...,

If they could add txting on these, I can only see how much everyone in class is looking at the "time".
Then again not possible without Wifi :/

Hah the good old days of 56k.... damn those dreaded phone lines.. remember pick up the phone one time only to get it blaring "Screeeee eee ee ooooo" and w.e. the damn shit did.. just cause my dad had his desktop connected on the net.. ahh the good days of AOL and getting kicked off followed by the cursing out that my dad did..

Nowadays. 100Mbps on Cable.. I dont see any slowdowns from here on out! :D

I really hope this becomes as popular as cell phones, paying for 3G and HSPA and whatnot just isn' worth it.. damn all those companies that make us pay for the wireless.. we have enough on our hands paying for the ISP connection at our homes!

.... Crystal balls.. have you gone bloody mad?.. stop sucking on his crystal balls.. when Jobs said Blu-Ray is a "bag of hurt" he doesn't realize that eventually Blu-ray will become available on Macbooks and Macs.. which is basically shoving all his words back down his throat... I have no clue why Apple is "no to Blu-ray" but then again its the main reason why I stay away from them for the time being..
ummm... no..

Why cry when its really not dead, and who the hell claimed it dead? Just because Engadget posted this up does not mean its something that really is happening.. so what if USB 3.0 is coming out? Firewire is still alive, and sure all consumer level products just shove the USB 2.0 port on their products but how do you expect to use a 20 -30 MP camera with a USB port? Transfering images would be a damn nightmare!

Idk why Engadget even posted it.. I'm still bewildered at how incorrect it is.... and what a waste of time to have an arguement about Walmart and Firewire.. what the hell..

w.e. i just found it very annoying, somewhat funny.. and seirously, whoever says Blu-Ray is dieing.. must either be living in 2050 or is having a damn fantasy about it because they're wrong..
Agreed, it feels more like of a family laptop rather than a business laptop, then again was targeted for what Michael called the , 30 min tasks.. pffft, 5 hours on a single charge for me didnt stop me..

my problem now is that any regular laptop now seems huge, and by that i mean the amplitude of space for your desktop, perhaps i should have just skipped netbooks and gotten myself a regular Inspiron.

Cheers,
Nick-
Let me know which hard drive you have, and I'll let you know if its either you, the software, or the ssd.

Well, i received the Dell Mini 9, and here's some things I would have loved adding to it:

Wireless -N
Bigger Hard drive than the limiting 16GB... c'mon...
Less cramped keyboard.
Better use of the area around the screen, They could have easily made this 10 or a 9 inch screen.

I've tested the battery life and I did get about 5 hours on a single charge, so I'm pretty satisfactory, although a 6 cell would help even more.

MORE COLORS would have been nice! so much for their exclusive pics at all the flavors available.. had to go with black, since I wasn't fond of white, and not fon of paying more for a different color...

I will say, if anyone wants more info on the Dell, do drop me an e-mail, and ask me for any specific info on it. I'd be glad to post it all up.
(I bought the max config for this, so its the highest priced one, ( $512.33 to be exact.)

Cheers,
Nick
I ordered mine the night of its release (the 4th?) and mine says In Production Preliminary Ship date: 9/19... so hold on to your pants, and I'll be writing a nice extended review for it as well, expecially for those who a keen to know if the US version is shipping with the WWAN port.

Cheers.
Nick
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
