I am a Nokia 5800 user and would add these comments.
- 5800 has global search
- My guess is S60 has more useful applications than iPhone but they may not be as accessible without an app store.
- I don't want to argue who has a more finger-friendly UI but I find the 5800 does a decent job so I never use the stylus.
- I would like to know more why S60 has a "long, long way to go". It appears like an empty comment with no justification.

Finally, I think it is odd to compare devices on the market (5800) with devices/OS upgrades (iPhone3.0, Palm Pre) that will not be coming for months. Why not replace the 5800 with the N97 and include the announced Ovi App Store?
I have an N95 and can comment that 5MP quality is excellent when shot in good light. People are very surprised it is taken with a phone. Inside, the LCD flash is not so good.

Related to iTunes integration. Nokia released Nokia Media Transfer application which has really good integration with iPhoto and iTunes. It is not an iPod so it can not play protected AAC files but everything else is OK, including video podcasts.

Related to battery times, I will not debate the accuracy of the numbers but it is nice being able to throw a couple of spare batteries in my bag for longer trips. This would be the biggest reason that I would not consider an iPhone. It would really suck to watch too many videos or listen to too much music and then not be able to make/take an important call.

I will wait for the widescreen iPod and then consider if it is worth carrying an extra device with n95.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
