@exenter Stereotypes may be wrong. That doesn't give you the right to attack someone just because they happen to fit one.
@exenter Way to make Ayumin unconfomfortable for admitting she's a woman.

There are real differences, and of course they don't match the stereotypes exactly, but seriously, do you have to insist that every woman admit she's just a guy in drag, who really just wants to play GTA and slap hos for a living?

Seriously, be a little more open-minded. For a good primer on how to not be a jerk, read the Linux chix' "how to encourage women in Linux" at http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Encourage-Women-Linux-HOWTO/
I think the real question is, did the cat's cortex catch the half-mouse-brain, or did it get away?
They're likely to keep a bit of bezel for quite a while...unless you're planning on cutting off your thumbs.

You've got to hold the darn thing and still be able to read it. If your thumb is covering the text, you can't read it. Unless you have see-through thumbs.

Phones get away without much margin, since you're able to hold them in one hand, and you don't need to put a thumb on the front to hold them...but when you go to a two-handed device, or one too wide to wrap your fingers around, you need a place to put your thumb.

I'm guessing an e-paper display is not quite as easy to clean as a glass display (though hopefully better than real paper).
New site design is pretty ugly. The big huge block of garbage at the top of the main page is very noisy, and isn't what I want to see...I want to see the stories, not some huge-ass ad for your "big story of the week".

Everyghint has hard corners now, very hard on the eyes. Whoever did the graphic design for your previous version had a much better design sense, it was nice looking, not such a very modernistic, square-cornered painful experience to look at. The new headlines are to large, heavy, bold, black and white...it's just all wrong.

I do love being already logged in, but the new comment system is also ugly, too many corners.
Hmm...not sure how much it'll help though...

Is there a way to get advice without turning on the "BS" setting?
How about an attachment with a cell-phone?

"I'm an Android, and Eclair was totally my idea."
@Nick: Are you sure that's ethical?
What I don't get is, why sell a weight-loss product in America at all?

You could lose 100 pounds just by ordering it from Britain.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
