@DJPalesto

ah, for some reason I always just assumed that screen was for deleting only, obviously I missed the forward button

Multitasking would by far be the best improvement, but apple will probably just limit it to 3 apps (non 3-d maybe?) or something, like windows 7 starter
@dustinlenguyen

I was thinking of the homescreen being redesigned with an entirely new layout, but yeah, it's probably not that likely
Hopefully either a higher resolution screen and/or multitasking. I doubt they'd do both because of the effect on battery life.

A front facing camera for skype video chatting would be fantastic.

Other than those, add all the little software changes that people keep calling for (i.e. sms forwarding, etc.)

Maybe this will be the first large UI overhaul, though that would be quite a feat to accomplish (having all 3rd party developers create new icons, etc.)
Write speeds? I need a 200+ MB/s storage solution, and if the read speeds are that high, maybe the write speeds are as well
Man, i wish I had one of these... or any of the recent i7 or similar chips...

They're just so fast!

The thing people need to understand, is that using GPS on a cellphone is very uncommon due to the requirement of an expensive data plan (as noted by the above commenter). But taking away users who have GPS on their cellphones from the entire PND market removes maybe 5% from the market if even that. It's a tiny market and will never kill the pnd market. There are too many un-tech-savvy people that prefer a standalone pnd over a fancy technological cellphone anyday.
I'd never buy the plastic turntable separately, it's just kinda pointless.

On a side note, I already have the same turntable in the background of the picture anways. I have no need for a plastic variant.
This would be so awesome
i need an extra controller, have for a while now
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
