Jun 15th 2009 1:50PM Most people are not looking for work - work is easy to find. Most people are looking for work that will let them maintain the materialistic, greedy, product-consuming lifestyle most Americans live. If you look at the global economy, the people in our country at the poverty line are "filthy rich".
Survival in this country includes: 1600 sqft homes, cable tv, new cars, broadband internet, and cell phones. People that live beyond their means are one of the major reasons we are in this situation.
iPhone 3G S supports OpenGL ES 2.0, but 3G only supports 1.1 -- will the App Store splinter? {Engadget}

The same 10-15 million customers? Give me a break. Everyone I know that upgraded to a 3G from the Original gave the phone to someone else (spouse, family member, friend, craigslist, ebay, etc). That means all of those ORIGINAL phones are still being used to make Apple (iTunes, App Store, switching to OSX, portion of AT&T bill that goes to Apple) & AT&T (subscribers) money.
The same will happen with the 3G to 3GS transition.
I'm sorry that the average consumer would seek out a 1st gen iPhone over the latest Blackberry, Palm, Nokia or whatever - Apple makes a solid product that stands the test of time (at least in tech-time).

Jun 2nd 2009 5:05PM Who cares if Apple people line up for an Apple product??? If that's all Apple had, they wouldn't be such a big player now. They would be what they were in the 90's. The fact that they continue to CONVERT people like yourself is what has all of the Apple haters in a tizzy.
PlayStation people will be lining up for this - big deal. Will the non-PlayStation people??? That is the challenging part.
Nintendo Wii Vitality Sensor detects your pulse {Engadget}
Jun 2nd 2009 1:20PM Seems cool enough. I hate the wire aspect, but I'll hold off judgement until it is released. Everything else Ninty has released since 2004 in the hardware market has went over pretty well.

Fox keeps the scroll position? Very smart. I use Safari - bookmark syncing between iPhone and various Macs. There are a couple features I miss from FF, now I'll add this to the list.
