Quackery - give me a break.
I have one friend who is on his 5th Xbox 360. It seems there's no taking him from his addiction to Madden football.

Also, I have a roommate who's Xbox 360 recently died. He's sending it in for repair but intends to try and sell it or trade it in at Gamestop asap... for a Wii.

I just love how you guys keep an eye out for who's out there using Segways. I suppose it's probably because I live in the rural community of Montana and have never seen one.

I'm totally fascinated with neuroscience and research into brain/computer interfaces. (DARPA robosharks!)

This just had me laughing hard! I still watch it occasionally. It's just as beautiful as the first time.
hahaHAHA! Guess it's time to work on a robot that can catch itself when it falls... or at least get back up! I mean just think about all the little children asking their parents "Did Asimo die?" Hilarious!
haha! *note* I am NOT looking forward to it.
Bah, this isn't funny. It's not terribly terrible but the shooters are complete losers.
No kidding. Not to mention the man hours of research and parts and materials shopping required.

This could definitely be a fun project if you love to build things yourself. But in no way is it cheap. After seeing all these "do it yourself projector," articles there's no way I'd spend all my time putting together this goliath wooden box to house my projector when I could just buy the whole damn thing assembled in slick metal and plastic - and have a warranty.
Good article, thanks for the link!
I agree. Having the flaps open also means there will be more space required than just the dimensions of the box for setting it up. Of course it's just a matter of inches but it seems kind of cheap and sloppy to me.
Cheers. I've been losing faith in the last few months myself. What the world needs is The Register's writing (http://www.theregister.co.uk/) combined with the Engadget's sense of which new science and technology is fun - and cool pictures.

In essence, Engadget for adults.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
