Wait a minute.... these guys are from BestBuy right?
Why does it take so long to copy the iphone? Over 10 years as a PPC user and .... now they come out with MS marketplace?... and finger friendly interface? Oh pleease... just freekin copy Apple bit for bit and get on with it already. What is holding them back is this 'innovation', just admit there are none and copy the leader and get on, it's 10 + years already guys.
I'd like to get one.
the world, including the USA, needs the governmnet to step out of the way of the free market. On top of that, the market pre Oct 2007 was never free in the first place, hence how we fell off a cliff. Post or talk all I want, the government is never going to listen. Oh well, at least I get a chance to win something useful.
I like the post about Slingbox requiring iphone users to buy a new Slingbox. It's just another reason I'm not going to buy the iphone, even though pocketpcs are not that great.
I have a Schnauzer named Butler.
The free maket as it is know isn't actually free. It's micro managed by the Federal Reserve like a Czarist state and further manipulated by the printing press of the Treasure. These people got us here, they will not be able to lead us out of the darkness.
The free market doesn't need more regulation nor more sitmulus etc.. The free market actually needs to be fixed so that is actually is FREE.

1) The Federal Reserve, that was created by FDR (whom later regretted creating it) after the great depression to prevent another one has not worked. It acutally created what we have now. It needs to be abolished. Interest rates needs to be FREE to adjust to the economy. Not manupulated by one man for 18 years that lead to too low of interest rates for too long. This happened many times in Greenspan's tenure, creating the biggest asset bubble in world history... after creating the biggest stock bubble in world history.

2) The dollar needs to be back up by something other than the good faith of the US government. Probably not back to the Gold standard, but at least no more of this fractional lending that got banks and the economyy overextended to where we are. Therefore, Treasury doesn't just go willy nilly printing money anytime and as much as they want. The US $ has already depreciated over 40% in the last 6 years due to this action.

Fix those two fundamentals, and you will have the free market functioning like it is supposed to. Not like it has been, which was just juiced up creating 'growth' but was actually bubbles after bubbles. All the added regulation, salary caps, proping up bad companies.... all need to be reversed. Alas, non of what I say is going to pass until the US spends all the money it has.... devalues the US dollar thereby automatically increasing Treasurey rates and stopping the spigot of foreign borrowed money. That is the point of maximum pain, and when nothing else can possible be experimentated with... maybe someone will point the right way to right the free market. Just as government intervention made the great depression worse... so too will act two conclude the same way. I hope this nation doesn't keep transforming into the USSA.
I have the original one that is still going on strong. Use it around the world, it is a blast.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
