Well the article seems totally inspired by Major Nelson (remember the PS3 vs xbox360 article? Oh that's right, you probably don't because Engadget never posted about it).
And as far as tabloid is concerned. The last entry about Microsoft lawyers pursuing legal action is all that needs to be said. Do you have Microsoft's legal team on speed dial? Or do they phone you after hours?
I bet the people who are complaining about Sonic Stage hasn't tried the latest version which is pretty good IMO.
And there *IS* a drag-and-drop utility you can download that lets you bypass SonicStage. It's been available for some of Sony's mp3 player so I don't see why it wouldn't work with these players.
They do make some good products, but their camera products are pretty awful.
Any non-professional should still care about image-quality and features. If your Canon was "mediocre at best" then I'd take a look at it again.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
