this would be great, it seems so much more useful than what I'm using now (evernote) for syncing clipboard items.
You can count me a Heck Yeah x12+ I'd get one for my wife, my mom and dad, plus I know my sisters and brother would, as well as their significant others.
My entire family, and in-laws are vzw folks, and they bug me all the time asking about when the iPhone is coming to vzw, and I constantly disappoint them with the sad truth that it would be a long shot, and if even possible wouldn't be until 2010. Well, looks like 2010 has an even brighter outlook than I expected.

I'd be happy to sign a 2 year contract with vzw if it does come, I've been out of contract with them since february 2008, my wife since October, and I was planning on moving over to AT&T this July with a new iPhone, but perhaps I might just hold off a little longer if this story develops into something a little more substantial. My pre-paid TMo iPhone will just have to do a little longer.
oh, I wish I could afford one of these!!! Darn recession!
I'd love to keep record of my 1k+ cd collection and vinyls so when I'm at the record store I'm not taking home something I already have.
perhaps you might try adding growl, and then growlmail and assigning a sound to the growl.
I'ma keep as much as my wife lets me(which should be a lot, since she just made me purge almost a whole closet full of old electronics gear) The rest I'll spread among my technophile support group friends. :0)
Oh, you mean it's not powered by all the hot air blown around by the democratic politicians?
I let my contract run out with the big V just so I can be ready for the 2G 3G iPhone. But I'ma wait til I'm sure it can be jailbroken before I cough up the cashola and join the company I hate about as much as verizon, but just for different reasons.

I haven't had much trouble with vzw, but they're the most expensive and have the shittiest phones...yet still the best network.
But..ATT is big and in cahoots with a recent government that doesn't mind an individual citizen right to privacy.

Either way I'm screwed really, not that I haven't anything to hide, it's just the principal. But my gadget lust is going to get the better of me here.
I agree with Adam, my Sennheiser HD 555 are great. Great sound, open ear style so you can hear if someone is calling you (provided it's not too loud) or pretend you don't hear them if you like.
I wear mine everyday at the office for roughly 8 hours a day for going on 4 years without discomfort which is tough with it comes to over the ear headphones. They're velvet(y) covered so your ears won't sweat like they do with plastic or leather covered ones, and your they're impedence is not so bad, so you can still plug them straight into your ipod and not have to use a headphone amp to drive them.

Grado SR-80's are pretty awesome, and arguably better sound but I find after a few hours they're not so comfortable.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
