Hi thank you guys. I have filed a police report on Sunday. and I also have tried to monitor e bay and craigslist. I just thought that more eyes on the internet will probably give me higher chances of spotting something.

Hi. I am sorry to post this here. I have looked all over but I wasn't able to find a place where I can reach the blogger/editors of TUAW.

In the past sunday, my desktop was stolen from my car in Bellevue, WA. It has my data and personal photo and stuff from the past 10 years. I just wish to get the message out to people, perhaps at least people in the area, to keep an eye on it, or perhaps when people browse eBay or such sites. If this is ok with you, or you have suggetions, please e mail me, and I will give you more detail on my mac such as model and serial number and such. I really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
