I hope "active aerodynamics" means more than just a rear wing that pops up when you go over 80mph like countless other cars out there. I want Lambo to go fully insane and stick ailerons and rudders on this thing to steer it at high speeds
In the early 80's formula 1 teams were getting 1500hp out of 1.5 liters.

Getting massive amounts of power out of a small engine isn't a big deal you're right, what is a big deal is getting the engine to last any amount of time. The fact that they're confident enough to run it in an endurance race is a good sign, although I wouldn't expect it to last anywhere near as long as a normal engine.
@thebolster The most important factor is pixel size rather than the pure number. The H3DII-50 has a pixel size of 6µm. For comparison, on the Canon 1D MkIV its 5.7µm
If you're referring to the numbers on the front of the lens, thats its focal length, not its aperture.
Nice to see the change to product categories, should make the guides more useful, although only doing one every few days through to christmas might negate that a bit. The closer you get to the big day the less likely people are going to want to wait before they make a decision on what to buy. Would be nice to see you guys getting them all up by say the end of November as that would actually give people time to buy the stuff.
Bet Ferrari wish they made an SUV now
So by my calculation Brawn GP have won 47% of the races they've entered and 100% of the championships, I wonder if that makes them, technically speaking, the most successful formula 1 team ever?
If you think thats bad, you should try a Caterham. You would get that feeling when you pull up next to a Rover 200, or if you get a higher end model, a Ford! Phwar!

Really if you dislike Lotus because they're using Toyota engines then your priorities are a bit out of whack
By "shipping 25 cars to the UK" I assume you mean "keeping 25 of the cars they're building in the UK" as the company is based here.
I doubt there will be a massive performance boost. Atom has always been about "good enough" performance, and what was good enough a couple years ago is still good enough today

The main advantage is the lower power consumption and manufacturing costs from integrating more parts of the system. But that means we'll probably see even less diversity in product designs from manufacturers than we do today
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
