Just as I don't use a hammer to crack an egg, I don't use my iPhone for something that works better or I can enjoy more on my desktop or laptop. I hope Adobe never puts Flash on the iPhone.
Still no support for non-Americans? Is our money not valid?
Who cares? Are US TV shows so great that people are dying to watch them? I'm perfectly happy with the TV shows I can see in my country. I only wish that Pandora would be available. I don't understand why other music streaming sites are still available internationally, but not Pandora.
The comparisons with the Mini have been incomplete: the $1595 Stealth does not include an OS (Windows, if you want that, costs an additional $195) and there is no optical drive ($175 additional for a USB optical burner). Both an OS and an optical drive are included in the Mac Mini. To match the two machines, the Stealth would cost almost $2000 , while the Mini would cost about $700. I have a Mini, btw, and have to agree that the fans are silent.

The Stealth and options are here: http://www.stealthcomputer.com/pb/index.php?comp=LPC625F
Why does this article show it as a Windows app? I see it is available for all platforms. Why not be accurate?
I completely agree with Maverick Saturn. 3D is only a primitive form of holographic projection.
It was indeed a great time -- it was before the commercialisation of the Internet and before spam. It was also before kids got access, so most of the discussions were, as the program says, between mature and educated people (most people then got access via a university).
Microsoft got IE ahead with two techniques: 1. tie IE into Windows so that users can't delete it and when IE crashed, there was a chance for a system crash as well, and 2. rewrite Javascript (and a little html) so that it worked only with IE.

No other browser developer did anything but try to make the best browser possible.
Jenn wrote: "But if EU forces Microsoft to have IE unbundled, then all OS'es should do the same."

Why? How many other OS'es have been convicted of monopoly practices (and not only by the EU?
"up to two meters"? That's a typo, right?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
