According to my (probably incredibly inaccurate) guesstimated calculations, this sucker will put out somewhere around 10 times as pounds per square inch sitting on your lap as say, the MacBook Air when sitting on your lap.

Oh I’ve got the ability to visualize... seeing a small group of rich amputees all over the news some time in the near future.
Uhhhh.... like, I'm totally poor...
Cool. Just get the price down and I'll consider it.

Also, 22lbs is pretty light for an electric bike, but being that's it's meant to be carried around a bit more than other electric bikes, I'd like to see them get that weight down a little bit more.
Agreed. This could be a much more popular PMP than a phone.

21:9 is a great feature to grab people's attention, but they're going to blow it if this thing isn't really good on release and getting better over time. Apple or Microsoft will go 21:9 with an iPod/Zune and because they're already recognized as more than good PMP's they'll sell like the hottest hotcakes you've ever seen before LG even has a chance to get their first software update out the door for this thing.
Either that or he's just really dumb.
If it's 80% efficient through 1cm of air, how efficient is it through 8 inches of snow?

This would be awesome if they were installed on all major highways and city streets, but it seems to me that the whole concept is totally fantastical.
Firefox does suck now. I used to use it occasionally but always preferred Safari (WebKit really, from a developer stand-point) especially since the version 4 Beta. Firefox was my very strong number 2 go-to, but now it is extremely rare that I even open Firefox at all. I generally use the webkit nightly or even Camino if I need to open another browser.

I suppose it's worth mentioning that I never cared for extensions.
Not even a small comment about the posted picture????

Come on... HAHAHA!

A taskbar, a dock with a Windows logo and IE, and Finder on the desktop.
Anyone notice the legs under the table?

Either the morphing man has his shoes on backwards and some serious limb deformity, or Microsoft REALLY sucks at Photoshop.
What about the PS/2-like split in the original controllers? I always wondered if that meant that they actually used PS/2 connections with faux-USB dongles on the ends. Did they run at USB-speed?

Anyone know how all that works?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
