Hello, Joel -

Just wanted to let you as EIC of TVSquad know that you have lost one regular viewer. The constant political comments and gross bias demonstrated by your blogger Danny (and often by Brad) has finally driven me away after about 3 years of daily visits. I know there have been many compaints on their posts in the past, which you may see as a good thing generating traffic, but at a certain point it just becomes irritating and turns off some of your customers. Since I have had many years of good visits, I wanted to pass this customer feedback along as a way of saying thanks for the good times.
I am done with TVSquad.

A couple of comments about the commentator's political bias every once in a while: annoying, but tolerable.

A never-ending parade of self-important quips: good-bye.

Too bad, I used to like this site before Brad and Danny became regular bloggers. Oh well, at least I still have Cinematical for my pop-culture news...

What about when you are not home, or if the player is in the kid's room or the den, or when you just aren't looking over the shoulder of your kid every second of every day because you recogonize their need for occasional privacy and to have the opportunity to make their own choices that are within the bounds you have deemed appropriate for their maturity level?

What about films like Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, any WWII movie in general, Shawshank Redemption, Slumdog Millionaire, Braveheart, Full Metal Jacket, Hotel Rawanda, and other movies that tell an important story about an unfortunately cruel world?

I don't know how configuarble the settings are, but this kind of thing might be useful in selecting out the bits of movies that you don't want your 12 year old to see, and then dialing down the exclusions to what you feel might be approipriate for a 15 year old, and finally no restrictions.

Obviously, this could be misused just as TV in general is misued as an electronic bbysitter, but there is certainly an appropriate place for such a device as this in some households.
Fouts is pretty good, as is Jaws. Whoever the best is, the whole lot is infinitely better now that Kornheiser has departed the booth.
But what will happen to "Gift for Enemy"???
"They are vapid, whiny and annoying. In other words, they are perfect Californians."

ha ha ha ha.... douche. Oh, I'm sorry, should I have said, "Whoa, man, like dude, what's your problem, brah?"
Can Halle Berry qualify for her villainously poor portrayal of Storm and that abomonation of Catwoman?
WOLVERINES!!!

The Swaze was great - a sad day for Hollywood.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
