Probably fall of 2007, when I got my ps3. There's a lot of lousy video game sites out there, but ps3fanboy was the best I'd found. And so it continues. Keep up the good work!
Commodore 64 is still the best version it seems...
A racing game that's actualy fun is most welcome. Aside from Burnout, this genre is in need of some new blood. Need For Speed is frightfully crappy these days.
Looks sweet...iron out that frame rate (60fps on PS3 please!), add custom soundtrack, and we're good to go! Q1 2010 though...announcing it pretty early?
Sign me up! Racing games with weapons can be classics, circa "Death Rally" (DOS/Win95) and "Rollcage" (PS1/PC).

Other than those, Burnout is the only racing game I've enjoyed in a long time. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was good too.
Awesome...the fighting engine has been _just_terrible_ the last several years, hope this works out. NHL 09 was a pretty awesome game, but they simply spent too much time on their online only features. Hope they added a simple "Playoff" option in the main menu this year, unforgivable to not have that. And they've got Custom Music on the PS3 this year, so that kicks ass.
Yup, I was hoping this would be offline...online only, no purchase from me. I'm just waiting for the new island at this point, if it still exists.
Canada or it didn't happen.
Hell yes! I don't have OTA HD in my area, but I'd use it to record Hockey Night in Canada on my PS3. :)
Argh...that beatboxing at the end...my ears, my ears! Spare yourselves!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
