For 100 more than a 758, you can get a ThinkPad x61s. Check bensbargains or similar for codes to get a price that low. An x61s would blow this thing out of the water in terms of performance and build quality. They also still ship with XP!
I just got an x61s for about $1200 a month ago, and I am in love. This thing lasts forever with the 8 cell and is tiny. My friends call it the ThinkPadAir. The x200s could only be hotter. I went with the x61s to allow me to use a work provided PCMCIA WWAN card.
I would love to pick up the mini and the m1330 with the graphics card, but that e-value code is for a gimped 1330. F

Yeah, it's totally down. Good to see it here: I was worried I was going crazy.
HDMI TVs are not rare. After Black Friday, they will be damn near common.

HDMI cables are not expensive. Overpriced Monster cables are, but Sony could probably get generic cables by the gazillions for 3 bucks a pop.

It's pretty clear that this is a tactical error by Sony, especially considering how hard they are hammering away at the 1080p angle.
Would I be nuts if I said that the Pearl was the most anticipated T-Mobile device of the 2nd half of this year?
EDGE is very much teh suck. Many of my co-workers switched over to Tmo for the Pearl, and we're all awaiting future UMTS berries.
We're getting these at work. They've got a built in security screen a la 3M.
I think most BB users will freely admit that the OZ client is a total joke. There is a slew of great 3rd party IM apps.

Unrelated, anyone else on backorder for this thing? I'm coming up on a week. Grrr....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
