Based on what seems like a very stern business ethic and attitude towards your minions employees: May I suggest some form of negative reinforcement?

Maybe you could have a sizeable electric shock through the keyboard when they open any kind of http communication?
Or some guy stood behind with a giant whips shouting "WORK! You low life numbers lost in a corporate structure! WORK!"

Seriously...
There is too much awesome packed into that R2 unit to be a legal indulgence...
Pretty sure that not even Ben Heckendorn could fit all that hardware into such a small shell... Then of course there's battery power to consider...

Maybe in another 4 or so years if the current hardware gets substantially smaller? A 360 slim would be a good sign that it might be possible one day...
The FM tuner is a long overdue but very good addition, and for the past 2 generations I've been thinking it was about time the Ipod's got a camera, but for the life of me I can't figure out that lens placement... I can only assume there was physically no room to put the lens anywhere else because no designer could have signed off the thought "Hey, this lens place is excellent for pulling out of your pocket and using, it fits perfectly with how users will hold this device!".

Maybe another theory would be apple want to discourage it's use to keep your memory useage down...? Now I'm really clutching at straws...
Completely agree!

So here comes some contraversy engadget, I have absolutely no issue with resistive technology! Anyone who's used the Gravity app on the N97 will tell you with no doubt that when a good resistive is used with excellently written software, it's as good as a capacitive screen, yet is cheaper and works with gloves!
Yes, we Get it engadget, you disapprove of the N97, funnily enough, a lot of us like the phone and think the keyboard is in a class of it's own compared to others such as the G1. I'll admit, it looks like this mini is a potential mis-step, in fact in honesty that keyboard does look a little harder to type on as the bottom row has shifted left a little, but enough of the constant bashing, seriously, people like myself who moved from Symbian regular to Symbian touch are happy with the transition, it keeps the familiarity of operation and builds on a platform with a lot of existing support. No one's saying it's perfect, but if for one second you suggested that the iPhone was perfect on first release I think even the Apple fans would have a quiet chuckle!
The problem is, Ovi maps 3.0 (or 3.01 at the moment) isn't ready to be used as a primary navigation system. So anyone buying this as their primary GPS may be sorely dissapointed.

Don't get me wrong, I use Ovi maps 3.01 on my N97 as my satnav system, and it does the job, in fact, when everything works correctly it's a joy to use. I can have my music playing over the FM transmitter and the voice instructions come in over the top of that on my car's stereo system, brilliant.

The problem is it doesn't work perfectly all the time, there are far too many bugs and crashes, the most annoying bug being when the system doesn't follow you on the 3D map, and you have to restart navigation to solve it.
If the navigation edition is released to co-incide with Ovi maps 3.1 (or 3.2 if nokia decide to stick with the SW update application's way of naming it) then it might just be a fantastic solution. Until then, Nokia have a lot of work to do.
Here's hoping COD players DON'T pick this up just for the sake of turning a G3 into an automatic weapon. Just nothing more annoying then playng against someone who's clearly using an autofire pad.
The read link actually shows 4 USB 2.0 ports, and 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 2 network/ethernet/RJ45s :)
In the land of computers we call that an Ethernet/Network/RJ45 port, but never a USB port...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
