id rather use one with a mechanical switch if it meant not using a PS. geez, a PS for a fing switcher?
some people have really sweaty hands, and they get worse when they are tense. ive seen a remote slip because of this. its gross, cuz the germs in their hands and the sweat make it look like dark water on the contoller...
Its prob pronounced "s-aisle" (s sound, then the word aisle). like pshyic, its not p-shh-yic, the p and s blend together.
whats video like?

thank god. it looks better than prototype shots. i believe they made it a bit less like 2 circles and a small rectangle, and make it more oblong in shape. before it looked like a hover pad.
i agree with the first poster, lets see the firmware. if its like microsofts past firmware stuff, it should crash in no time at all.

You could always upgrade your mac to leopard when it comes out, Windows apps work natively! ;)
what soldering iron is that? its tip is so thin! i love it!
sorry guys, i kind of agree with number 8 on this one.

its not really a dock per-se, its more of a large adapter. to make it a TRUE dock, the ipod would probably stand up in it. To do that you wouldve probably had to put the dock connector in the middle(ish) of the board, at an angle. but still, awesome, cant wait for me to make one :D:D:D:D:D
No offense, but this isnt really a dock. like cmon it cant even support it self unless you put the ipod horizontally.
Hey, is the last part going to be soldering everything on the board? Arent u guys going to make a nice little enclosure for it or something? The enclosure was pretty much the only reason i kept reading these.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
