They got CoD 4 also.
The dude who wrote the article knew full well everyone was going to
read it as HD-DVD. Should have spelled out hard disk drive. Sometimes
I wonder why I keep coming back to engadget.
I believe it says on the very first line that his name is NOT Benjamin Bratt.
Will,

What do you mean? The last time I checked Console gamers and PC gamers couldn't play together.

And any day, I'll choose a $500 dollar console that will last 6 to 7 years, instead of having to upgrade my PC every 2 years, only to get pwned by some noob who uses a $15 hack, and plays CoD4 on his notebook with integrated graphics, while watching TV.
I wonder what his trash-talking might be like when he's pwning nubs on Crysis with his 9800 GX2s in SLI. Anyway Intel's got this group of people who sit in underground bunkers and brainstorm 24/7 for uber cool sounding names for their products. They'll be tasked with conjuring up a comeback now. it won't be long before they think something up that will hit Jen Hsun-Huang like a cannon ball to the face.
Did he say the iPhone was High-definition?
"We're quite confident that no Download Squad readers are actually violating the law."

Really? How?
Maybe it's to remind readers to take everything with a pinch of salt, cos it's April fools day.

On a more serious note, why did this Daniel K chap agree to stop so quick? He should have told them to buzz off.
That's cos it doesn't ask 'cancel or allow?' every time a key is pressed.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
