Can we trade Barrack "Warmonger" Obama for Aung San Suu Kyi? The former clearly doesn't deserve the Prize.
And don't forget the Ram Bam Thank you Ma'am.
Here's a question for ya: Why does a device whose purpose is to play HD video, bother with S-Video or composite video? Like my Samsung BD-P2500 Blu Ray player. It not only has composite video jacks, but those friend folks even included RCA cables or composite video and stereo sound. Just why I bought an HDTV and Blu Ray player!
As someone who has tried to get a water damaged iPhone replaced, I can tell you this is a new policy. I was told getting my phone replaced would set me back five Benjamins.

Since my iPhone more or less works (it exhibits some major funkiness with the home button, and there's visible damage in/behind the screen), I'm still planning on holding off for another month or two to see if the summer brings a new iPhone, which I expect it will.
Who set up this poll? The NHTSA? We've got no choice!
Two reasons:

1) Marketing; some people think that E85 is greener, or they like that it is supposed to help struggling, domestic corn farmers who stand in front of their barn, holding a pitchfork, with their wife, posing for portraits.

2) Politics. Politics either believe the same things stated above, or kowtow to their constituents who do. Corporations always long had to kowtow in-turn to politicians, and the car companies now more than ever.
Electrical vehicles are at least a decade, and probably much more, from being volume products. If any company wants to stay alive, they must develop new engines in the the interim. Developing a more efficient V6 is not against plans for recovery, it's vital to it.

As pointed out by thomas, Chrysler is also working on EVs, so this news isn't mutual exclusive with "focusing on the future." Chrysler would go out of business far faster if they focused exclusively on EVs. They cannot survive serving a niche market as Tesla can; their structure and workforce is orders of magnitude bigger.
It's a little naive to imply that the engine is the only thing in their recovery plan, but for an automobile company, yes, good, efficient engines are extremely important.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
