Exactly!

Who wants to put their name down to buy the Audyssey DSX "None More Black" Limited Edition?

It comes in a plain black box.
How can it be that far advanced, when it's put together & (seemingly) soldered by hand, by 3 women in a small warehouse in Hereford?

And if the technology is that secret, how can you sell it to the public?!?
It's not about being able to use a keyboard/mouse natively on a 360. Because, then the game would have to have keyboard/mouse support.

It's about being able to use a keyboard/mouse in games that don't support them - i.e. the keyboard/mouse is emulating a controller (as it were).
This has been done already.
See: http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/zz-360-max2
Saves on having to mod a controller, especially at that cost!!

I know people that have tried devices like these. None particularly liked the experience. Which is why these aren't more common place.
This has to have been invented by an American.
Why not just stick a petrol engine on it, and be done with it?
A 52' foot screen viewed from 9ft?!?!

Ah. You mean a 52" screen viewed from 9ft.
Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.
Already on the closed beta in the EU.
Can't say anything due to NDA, but, it's no SL.
'Wii Kiiboard' - would be equally bad!
catch up? The article is aimed towards about backwards compatibilty, both of s/w and h/w. I'm afraid I (as an owner of both systems) fail to see how the 360 is so far ahead in this area that the PS3 will never catch up.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
