Totally unnecessary Joy Division reference. Props on the knowledge of good music, though.
Best Buy has removed the link to actually pre-order the item. Instead, where the Pre-Order button was, is a non-clickable, "Coming Soon" sign. Think they caught on yet?
O Brave New World!
It's a sad day in PSP history. I currently run Dark_Alex's OE, and it is a godsend. The PSP scene owes a lot to the likes of DA and Fanjita, and so does Sony. They made the PSP interesting again. The PSP is a handheld whose only interesting feature, sadly, is the extensive homebrew capabilities. Sony has dropped the ball when it comes to making decent PSP games, and without homebrew, I can see the PSP going the way of the Dreamcast. Hopefully someone can pick up where Dark_Alex left off, even though those are some mighty shoes to fill.
ACTUALLY ACTUALLY ACTUALLY can't we all just STFU with the console hating and just enjoy Rainbow Six Vegas as a collective unit of FPS lovers?!?

XBOX 360 FTW!!!
Wow...I'm a regular Engadget reader, and news watcher, and I also live in Hialeah, FL (the place where this took place), and I found out about this from this article. In fact, the kid lives about three blocks away from me...weird.
I suggested One by Metallica, Chemicals Between Us by Bush, Sleep Now in the Fire by Rage, and Would? by AIC. I really hope One would make it; those games are really lacking a Metallica song, and that song has both a killer guitar solo and drum solo.
That is what phallic means. *sigh*

I need a live feed of D before I implode from anticipation.
I'm you Wingman, dude!

You're totally right. IBM instead stooped to getting rid of their PC lines altogether.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
