That seems really big, but if I had a choice between this and a naso-gastric tube getting jammed down my nostril, I would take the pill because I can tell you the tube really hurts like hell.
Well the Mobile Me service is completely down so the iDoesn't do any email/contacts/syncing today. It's all about Android.
The whole point of this topic is that Apple iPhone will face trouble unless the carrier network (AT&T) improves. Their over dependence on Google products makes them very vulnerable to Android. Basically Apple only have the slick user interface at this point to the iPhone's advantage.
One should not keep any loyalty to any one company, because for them you are only a profit margin. Let them compete.
It looks good other than the vmedia. If anyone really needs an optical drive, just get the USB Samsung drive for $59 and you can use normal CD and DVD media instead of some weird off standard disc. Also you don't have to carry it when not needed.
How many does Apple sell in any given year ? It seems like overkill for the home market and dedicated for the creative arts industries. Problem is that they lose out in the engineering workstation and embedded application markets. They should make a less expensive model with a cheaper CPU that sucks less energy. Heck they could just call it a Mac to differentiate the product.
MacBook Air is over priced and never made sense in any market - "lifestyle purchase" BS. It's the worst product in Apple's line-up and reflects little logic, only arrogance and vanity.
This Dell Adamo is just a copy of a useless Apple concept running a horrible OS - Vista. Dell needs to embrace the fact that it can make a high-value computer and clean up their entire line-up and how they sell them. Too many intersecting products, coupons and gimmicks. Downgrade everthing to XP and ditch Vista.
Apple's really messed up the shuffle this time. Proprietary headphones are a bad idea and will bring more pain than profit for their own customer base. How did Apple manage to screw up something so simple ??
Some products and the lack of some products don't make sense in Apple's strategy.
Is the Air intended to be a secondary computer to the desktop or what ? It is too expensive and less-featured than the normal MacBook. The only thing it has going is that it is thin. What's the point when the 13" MacBook is thinner and better built than most Win-based laptops. So the one thing I would change is to reposition the Air at a 10" size at sub-$1K price marketed for maximum portability hence the name Air. It also needs some unique feature or twist to get current Mac owners to want it.
Also, there is a need for a very cool desktop Mac sized between Mac Mini and Mac Pro (not the iMac) aimed at the Business segment. They could just call it Mac. It's really needed badly for business and for the embedded applications market. The current Mini and iMacs just won't work in a lot of applications. Also, they need a ruggedized MIL-SPEC Mac.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
