Intel has started pulling VT support from some of their (cheaper) newer chips.

To my surprise my new Dell Vostro came with an Intel Core2 Q8200 Quad Processor which does NOT support VT.

Particular annoying since I cannot run 64-bit VM-Ware guest operating systems on a 32-bit host.
Interaction might be easier - e.g. jumping to a section, reading the same line again.

Navigating an audiobook without a GUI is difficult (try it on an iPod Shuffle).
Weirdly the Google statement only appears on Engadgets version of the press release - other versions do not have this, e.g.:

This is the worst branding ever:

According to intel 'Geforce 9400M' is a brand that refers to a motherboard GPU (GeForce 9100M G) combined with a discrete GPU (either GeForce 9300M GS or GeForce 9200M GS). See: http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9100m_g_mgpu.html

But this new 'GeForce 9400M G' refers to a single motherboard GPU (only the MacBooks pro's have both discrete and integrated GPUs).

To top it off, Apple refers to this new single motherboard GPU on the MacBook (non-pro's) as a 'GeForce 9400M' (without the 'G'). (Actually mentioned on Intels site: "Please note that for Apple products, this goes by the name GeForce 9400M.)
The difference really shows on the highly compressed 15 Hz video clip you provided...
The background picture is named something with 'BlueTrack' in it, which gave me this on Google:
http://www.yougame.it/MS_Explorer_Mini_Mouse-7048.html

where a new "revolutionary" MS mouse with a blue led and some kind of lens is described (my italian is not that great).
DivX and XVid are MPEG-4 part 2 implementations, but they belong to the 'Advanced Simple Profile', which the iPod is not capable of displaying: it is 'Simple Profile' only. Don't know about the Zune but it is probably the same.

Btw, H.264 is also a MPEG-4 format (MPEG-4 Part 10)
Does this apply to the iPod Touch as well?

Doesn't the hacks require access to the file system (and has this been achieved on the Touch)?
Huh? from Sydney Morning Herald:

"Slim,..., will meet all contributions dollar for dollar..... He spearheaded an initiative in 2005 that called on politicians to reform Mexico's justice system, fight crime, boost public finances, improve health and education and develop infrastructure."
"18mg / 30 cigarettes = 0.0555...mg/cigarette" = weird math
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
