not sure what the benefit of carrying only one device is when it comes to tethering vs aircard. Sure its a little more weight, but when you're using a laptop to connect to the internet, surely a 5 oz aircard isnt going to break your back.

Also, taking calls while surfing the net becomes easier.
anyone else read that as sony's mafia and see a severed finger?!
Seriously. They're charging me $250 so that I can fix their shitty coverage? They should be giving this device to me with a written apology for why I'm paying $40 a month for a service they cant provide!

I got a better idea. Why dont I take $200 of that $250 and pay the ETF on your bullshit contract, and take the remaining $50 to get a decent phone with 2 yr contract on someone whos actually willing to give me the service I pay for?

novel idea isnt it?
I know this is kind of stupid, but that space on most laptops below the keyboard thats usually void of keys? I like that, I rest my wrists there, and sony removing that would in my opinion make this laptop a little less comfortable to use.

About $500 less comfortable to use.
1 grand for a netbook? I find that hard to swallow.

dude should photoshop his personal info out.

just sayin
@maveric101

did you forget about jubei? I swear if I had all his comments on one page I could make a java program that writes comments nearly identical to his.
yes, because being shot with a gun completely painless. the most humane way to die.
even with those odds, if it came down to being shot with this or a 9mm, I'd pick this any day of the week.

That being said, I'm sure most police use decent discretion when using these. In the cases where people die from having these things used on them, I think we'd find either that a cop would be justified in using a real gun on the suspect or that the cop shouldnt have even used a baton.
I know thats probably an outside reference but taken out of context thats actually really depressing.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
