Happy Birthday! I'm quite fond of this blog, and it's helped me do my work saving lives and preventing suicide on the onlinenet. My favorite engadget post was def. the letter to Palm about the fooolio.
closing on first house on Friday - would love to be able to keep it tidy!
someone's a musical theater nerd! And that someone is evidently me....
Depth. of. Field.

As an independent filmmaker I'm really happy about this, b/c it will allow us to shoot really small budget films with whatever look we want - a couple prime lenses, a good tripod, and a really good sound person and you're rolling.

You're not going to get the same look out of a $500.00 video camera.
Times is hard, I could use a free GPS to find my local Wamu. I mean Chase...
If I have a miShake, and you have a miShake...
Engadget: leave the subtle misogyny to blogs owned by Denton. Come to think of it, leave the snarkiness to them too. I come here to read about emerging technology, not to hate on people.
"Kevin AMOLED?!...it says Kevin AMOLED?!"
Blue Zune
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue Zune
You know just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for....
I don't buy it. Where did 10.57 million people find a Wii to buy?!?! Cuz they sure as hell aren't in stock here in New York.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
