i've had no problem using several skype headsets on the mac. they've all been natively supported, it's just another USB soundcard. i'm hoping "pc edition" actually refers to the fact that it's USB rather than audio jacks.
i'm using a plantronics dsp unit on the mac at the moment, it's fantastic.. but given the size of this "jawbone", i'd swap in a second.

For those that are interested in video, the current beta release of aMsn which can be downloaded here: http://forums.cocoaforge.com I don't know if it supports transmitting video, i haven't splashed out on an iSight, and my intel camera isn't supported by the third party webcam drivers. But i've had zero problems with watching other peoples. It also supports the new custom emoticons and animations. I like it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
