"Inside, the look is fairly upscale."

We must be looking at different interiors. That reeks of cheap to me.
You ought to do your homework. This hard top only adds 18 kilograms (40 pounds) over the soft-top model.

This thing looks way too much like a 6-series Bimmer (headlights).
Civic gets 25/36.

And yes, there is no reason to buy the Fit over the Civic. The Fit is for people who assume it is more efficient because it is smaller and want to show off that they have a fugly eco-car. My wife and I test drove one, and the thing was like a go-kart.
As an RDX owner, I think you are off base with this comment. Motor Trend seems to agree:

This is the most ignorant and irrelevant comment someone could have made. Congrats.
The car looks incredible. If they bring it to the US, it will likely be my next ride. Almost a smaller version of the Acura RDX I am driving now.
I have never been a big fan of Lincoln vehicles, but this is a gorgeous car.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
