that headset would look sweet on my head
that hava dealie looks sweet!
These are digital not analog cable tuners. im no expert but i have heard from installers that cablecards are a bitch to install, partly due to their being finicky about signal quality.

splitting inside the box would make niveus responsible for doing so in every situation. im pretty sure cable installers use different modulators/amplifiers/whatevers depending on your specific wiring situation when they read the signal with their testers. you probably need pro installation to get 4 dcts wired up properly. at least someone with a tester and all the required knowledge and a nearby radioshack.
warpzero what resolution are you running on your screen connected over usb? seems to me that if you see frames dropping on hd video you would see the same on dvds? dvds run at 30fps and hd at 24 (60?) and since the graphics card has to do the rendering, not sure why the display would make a difference unless it was simply a refresh rate limit of the monitor in general. probably something im missing... could also be that your laptops video card struggles to render it...
160 gb 4.3" wifi touchscreen dvr with good codec support? yes, people still buy these things. A tad big for the pocket, but for people who travel/commute this thing will be awesome. Its also a reasonable home media center if you arent already equipped.
Hi, my big question right now is how will HD streaming work over wifi? Eespecially since MS has not even announced an 802.11n adapter for the 360 far as i know. I was thinking about the Dlink N bridge router, but that doesnt seem to be out yet. I currently have an airport running 802.11n and an old g airport extending it as a WDS. the g is running wep and mac security, since the xbox wont play nice with the airport wpa.

When I run the "Tune Network" applet from the extender or the vista pc, it shows my signal strength hovering above the line it says is required for HD. Can you test your 360 using the standard wireless card and a good strong 802.11g signal? I want my cablecard pc in the office so i can use it for gaming and stuff... just so i can justify spending 3 grand on a pc i could build for half that.

My setup is fine for standard tv and everything else the 360 does, but i have trouble believing it will work well for HD.
actually toshiba makes a 14" widescreen m7 tablet... specs are good but i hated mine, traded it for a thinkdpad. my lid kept opening in the bag, plus it was fat and the battery sucked.
What i really want is just a dock that will display the ipod screen on my tv when its connected while browsing and playing music, not just playing video or photos. The ipod should allow a constant video out with an optional setting, or only when its plugged into ac power. anyone have any suggestions?
I realize the apple tv does this, but i dont really want one... I used to have my media center pc in the living room, but lately i just extend it through my 360 so no more itunes directly on my bravia.

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
