No the 8700m isn't a typo, apparently when the D900C and M570RU were announced, they only knew that they would be a high end 8x00m card, and 8800m was, effectively, a guess. Since these have now shown up on the Clevo website with 8700m as a future option, it is likely that they have confirmed with nVidia which cards will be availiable.
