I've a suggestion:

1.) Make it a pain to use, i.e., add DRM and make sure it only works on one device, if at all.
2.) Make it as expensive or even more expensive than the printed version.
3.) Sue annoyed customers who prefer to crack the DRM or download the content via pirate webpages. Claim the damage is around $700 per downloaded page.

Hey, it totally worked for the music industry, so why not copy their success model.
@mrt2 I don't think he was criticizing the choice of the OS, but the wallpaper. Let's be honest, this cat is an all time low in Apple's design history (http://gizmodo.com/5344205/8-years-of-great-mac-os-x-box-design-end-in-a-stupid-clip-art-cat). Having this cat as a wallpaper is almost as horrible as the Snow Leopard default wallpaper (I *hate* it, and I still have to look at it every time I log in -- or is there a way to change the wallpaper of the login screen?)
@title722: I _swear_ that a few month ago there was no option for any M-series model older than M400 on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?service=EU . Maybe they've changed their site. Good so see, thanks for your help.
The service of Toshiba can only become better. I have a 4 year old M200 tablet and the drivers aren't even available anymore online (so I guess they support their laptops for 3 years only). A friend of mine had a Toshiba laptop with a DVD drive which didn't work with most brands of CD-Rs, and when we sent it in, then they sent it back saying that "only a selected number of CD-R types" are supported, and the drive is perfectly ok (they attached a list of "compatible" brands, none of which was available in the stores).

I've made excellent experiences with the service of Acer, though.
What exactly are they trying to patent there? Tablet PCs that are touch sensitive and allow you to write with a stylus in addition already exist.
@Jack, user error: Yeah, I took me a while that the recommended way of closing the Mail application is "Force quit". I first thought "Boy, that application hangs quite often", but then I realised it's entirely my fault.
Windows 7: http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/4/2009/10/500x_500x_Magical_turtle_Win_7.jpg
Snow Leopard: http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/02/2-25-09snowstacks.jpg

And if it's only because of the wallpapers, Windows 7 has a coolness factor that Snow Kitty will never reach... (I'm using both systems nowadays, and that after not having used Windows for ages).
The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a bluetooth version of their Touch products yet.
Not every news company works like Fox.
@Malus domestica eater: Now Apple's legal department has you on their radar... I'd be more careful from now on.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
