The OLPC is rubbish. It's tantamount to the people who send missionaires used tea bags. If you wouldn't use it yourself, why should anyone else. I agree with helping people on many different levels. I've spent the last year volunteering in China, and I'm blown away by what people 'throw to the dogs'. The people in developing nations who we're trying to help are just like you and me, and just as valuable, and just as deserving of nothing less than an Apple MacBook Pro as you & I are. Start there and work back. Peace.
Desireable... if a rash is desireable. When will manufacturers clue in that a large 'frame' around the screen is, well, undesirable. Thanks for coming out... you can go home now.
