I totally agree with you. HDTV standards are 720p, 1080i and 1080p. It makes no sense for Sony to support only two of the three standards.

Here is an analogy I can think of for future users - I have a Sony XBR1 60" Projection TV that support "1080p" but does not accept 1080p INPUT. If for example, Sony decides to make the PS4 to output only 1080p, I'd be screwed and anyone else with HDTV that support maximum 1080i input.

No argument here, Sony needs to fix this debacle.

I believe Microsoft's products are very good.

I recently purchased the Zune, eventhough I already have an iPod. I really like the Zune's big screen for ripped DVD's. Very easy on the eyes and a perfect size for entertainment-on-the-go; not too big like the PSP and not too small like the iPod. I've found myself using the Zune more often than the iPod for watching video and listening to music.

I think the problem with Microsoft's gadgets is that it's not geared toward casual users but more leaning toward geeks. The extent I've used the Xbox 360 (with 60" HDTV, surround sound, Windows MCE) and Zune (Video/Music ripping), I don't think casual users can appreciate the products without experiencing them to its fullest.

Only attention whores will participate since we all know Girl Gamers don't exist.

4 - Moo: Sorry to inform you that the MacBook Pro is no competition to this small gaming oriented laptop. I have a MacBook Pro 2.1Ghz, and its currently sitting in AppleCare service center for the past two weeks due to overheating issues, screen blemish due to the heat (LCD got burnt because the laptop was so hot when I close it), USB port not powering Hi-Speed USB and of course the battery life is horrible.

Dell on the other hand, eventhough it's not aesthetically pleasing design, is more functional, better performance and value than the MacBook Pro.

If every other journalists are abiding by Konami's rule, why shouldn't you? This has to do with being fair to all the reporters.

If anyone cared to read the article, it stated TWO projectors put together would produce up to 24,000 lumens. Engadget obviously didn't do the math or misquote. Dave was correct and Joe research before you start flaming.
