War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, Ignorance Is Strength
@JeffM
You know, there are plenty of Mac users that aren't Apple fanboys. You get a pretty narrow cross-section on these technology websites, but there are plenty of Mac users out there that prefer Mac OS X over Windows, but that doesn't mean that they prefer all things Apple over all things Microsoft.

I'm locked into the IPod ecosystem with my purchased music. I recently bought an iPod Classic to replace my old 4G iPod. But I must say, the new Zune looks quite nice. Lately Apple has been impressing me less and less, my iPod Classic doesn't have that special feeling that my 4G iPod did. Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to be on the up and up. I would consider a Zune to replace my iPod Classic whenever it dies, but first, Microsoft, you've got to get Mac compatibility.
my 80gb iPod Classic didn't come with a slip case.

I don't care. The screen is glass and the body seems scratch-resistant enough. I never put my 4G in a case and it looked fine.

I can't stand cases, they take all of the character out of an iPod and add a lot of thickness.
Whoops, I misread the article. Good job Joe! I am 100% against RFID, so I'm glad that this was passed in the Senate. Now it's on to Arnold.
Damn. Joe Simitian is my state Senator.

What a douche, I'm going to be campaigning against him next election.
Gears of War.
But I've only got a PS2, and my favorite game for that is Call of Duty 2
What's wrong with that? Plenty of us are content with getting a free phone every two years. If you want to get a new phone every month, then yeah, a two year contract probably isn't for you.
You do know that the current higher-end Verizon phones (such as my LG VX8700) have full featured Bluetooth, and the Verizon interface has been overhauled so it's not the red bars anymore.
I hope I'm not sitting next to you on my Oakland-Philadelphia flight next week.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
