The problem is, AT&T is just going to continue wasting (my) money on lawyers and fighting it instead of doing the right thing and making the network better.
Seriously? Lol. Yeah, because I am 100% sure that you couldn't just put XP on here, right? Oh btw, have fun with Peggle Extreme...
The Macbook that has a mid-range GPU? Not like the high end 9800M GS in the G50VT? The Macbook that's terrible for gaming? You know, the same gaming this laptop is intended for? Get your head out of your ass...
Bag. Of. Swag.

I crave... the bag...

@ Familyguyrokz

The point is, people want power to go and don't always have the luxury of hauling an entire desktop and monitor set up with them wherever they go. Really, the idea is lost on you, so I guess I won't bother to explain the fact that no person who games on a laptop uses the track pad but instead uses a USB mouse, probably similar to the one you use at home on your desktop, or that Laptops can play games just fine and that your spouting off incorrect information (My Dell XPS M1730 with SLi 8800GTX's makes a good argument...) for the sake of trying to make yourself look knowledgeable is a poor excuse for... well I'm not sure what your doing here other than trolling this post.

But seriously, we can't all bring our desktops with us, and for those of us that need portable power, these are the kinds of laptops we use.
Excellent. Now, I am thinking (before anyone goes crazy) that Asus means 4870X2 like the other Crossfire Solutions have thus far (OCZ Whitebook, Alienware M17, etc.) but if it really does have 4 GPU's, nVidia better get ready because ATi will be taking the notebook performance crown in no time...

Can't wait to buy one!
Come on, Nova, and Palm- I really want to see some innovation here --- Slapping Nova onto an old re-used Treo would be a start- if your shipping them tomorrow-

But what I want is NEW HARDWARE- do something like Sony would've done with the Clie line... They were always daring.
I guess you'd have to ask that same question to all those millions of Mario Kart fans...
I dont know if entering for the TV disqualifies me from this one, but since it's Mobile, and a different contest, I figure its cool... Uh, well, here's to hoping! Thanks for running a great site guys!
As a faithful reader since like, your 2nd or 3rd month of writing, (The main Engadget, and it's spin-offs) I'd really like to win.

I have to admit, though, you've helped me make a lot of gadget purchases, and great decisions on what to buy, so, I already kinda win every time I come here.

Not sucking up, just thanking you for a good blog.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
