Oh crap that's so awesome! Totally interest...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Just kidding, beats iPhone news though
Install of iPhone 2.0 and iTunes 7.7killed 2 OS's on my end. 1 Tiger, 1 Leopard. Tiger ended up booting fine but no Apple apps whatsoever would launch/load. Leopard had a blazing kernel panic, like I've never seen before (text over boot screen). FInally got it to load onto, get this, a migrated account from the toasted tiger to the crushed leopard. Seems to work fine now but i can't install apps from iTunes only via the Apps Store on the iPhone and I can't get AIM to work at all (won't accept my ichat .mac name). Pandora works and Remote works perfectly.
trying it on 10.5.4 now, same machine (dual 2.0 G5), different boot drive with Leopard. Still no luck with the 10.4.11 boot drive, everything is screwy.
not yet, feeling an archive and install coming on. ack.
I upgraded to iTunes 7.7 and then the iPhone 2.0. Phone works but it totally screwed my OS up (OSX 10.4.11). So far, these things will not launch or run (either through the dock or directly from the Apps folder):

Safari (using firefox for this post)
Address Book
iChat
iPhoto
iWork 08
iLife 08
Calendar
Preview
Pretty much any Apple application.
Non Apple apps are fine with the exception of Adium but thats probably due to iChat not working.
Nice
Well now we really know what was on the videotape in "The Ring".
that's some nice photoshoppin'!
FInally, FW800. Wish it had the 100GB 7200 as an option for the 15". 17" is a pain to lug around. I'm buying though, been waiting since september for this.
I'd sooner light MYSELF on fire than go to that über hippie/dork fest. Cool gee-raff or not. BM is crap. And yes, I've been. And yes, I went years ago when it was cool. And yes, it's crap. Then and now (but most likely worse now). Where else can you go where a bunch of uptight wanna-bee's can fake creative one long weekend a year? It's like a weekend pass to be a dork. Or dick. Either one. Worst engadget article EVER!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
