ive got data but no voice and no text messages.
I'll continue to rail about apple being too expensive as long as I have to pay $2500 for an expansion slot.
Alright! Wipeout FTW!!!!
what kind of price range we talking for these things? im waiting for the day i can get 1920x1080 in a sub-$1500 price range.
as would I, and just about every other person on this earth who wants their neat little toy to not look like you just pulled it out of a sweaty ass crack.
ive never been in a car where these cigarette lighter adapters stay in place. sure, they stay put for a week or so, but then they wont stand up straight and eject your ipod/iphone every time you go around a curve. no thanks.
Almost to May, and all we've gotten new is the Magic. We'll be lucky if we get two phones by the end of the year. So far Android has been nothing but a lot of big talk with very little product to show for it, especially in the US.Is android gonna become the next S60, with lots of overseas devices yet no love from US carriers? Starting to look that way.
too bad this will mean nothing with the stupid 5GB cap on everything. With speeds like that you'd be taking out a second mortgage within a week of data use.
High speed data is meaningless on cellular networks as long as providers put crippling bandwidth usage limitations in place.
Wow. You know engadget, I never want to read a pity post for Motorola ever again. The whole company is in the shitter and they're wasting money on this??? For a phone only a handful of people will ever even consider buying? In this economy? Why don't you just make a commercial of Miley Cyrus eating cheeseburgers in Darfur and chatting with her tween friends on an Aura, it's gonna have about the same impact on sales of your silly overpriced fashion phone. Meanwhile, the stock keeps tanking.... :(
is this what tmo's big press conference thing was about, or is that something different?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
