Ask Engadget: What's the best iPhone 3G alternative? {Engadget}
Jul 25th 2008 1:58AM i like the N95 a lot, but what I dont like is that it's almost a two year old phone (since announcement) and it's still $600. I know it's not on subsidy, but Nokia needs to shut up and eat it and start working with carriers if they want to succeed in the high-end phone market. I know a ton of people who love the N95 but are now rocking iPhones and Tilts and such simply because nobody wants to spend that much on a phone, period.

AT&T announces iPhone 3G pricing plans {Engadget}
Jul 1st 2008 10:25PM What Im curious to know is, what is the fate of the original iphones? Say I have an original, and buy a 3g, and want to give/sell it to someone else. Does that mean they HAVE to get service with AT&T? because as I understand it, the original iPhone was sold un-subsidized, meaning it is my phone at this point to do with as I please. Now, considering the FCC has a law on the books saying that I can call up my cell provider and have my phone unlocked from the carrier, couldnt I do that with my original iPhone, thereby freeing it up to be used on other GSM networks without having to resort to "jailbreaking" it? Isnt AT&T legally obligated to unlock my original iphone at my request if I made one?
I would LOVE to know the answer to that one.

Jun 28th 2008 6:08AM i gotta say again, Flight Simulator for mac, back in OS 7 days.
nothing was more awesome than mastering the graceful art of simulated flight, only to make one small error and have the plane go veering out of control, the dizzying mess of flat-shaded polygons spiraling around the screen blurring into some kind of kaleidoscopic nightmare before hurtling into the ocean.
