+ tax brings in your macbook pro at 3024 and the hp at 1620...

so hmm... 1400 dollars more for "style"

well alot of people at my school have macbook pros and nearly all of them either are dented, or where they rest their palms to type is scuffed up or the paint is worn off, not very stylish.

my hp wont dent, although if i hit it hard enough it will break, but that is way beyond the force required to dent one, and it doesnt have that powdered finish to it and so it wont wear off.
Components
• Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
• Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7700 (2.40 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
• 17.0" WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1680 x 1050)
• $50 Off upgrade from 1GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) to 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
• 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
• HP Imprint Finish (Radiance) + Microphone + webcam
• Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth(TM)
• FREE Upgrade to 240GB 5400RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2) from 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive!!

all for what now... 1499?! that simply cant be possible since apple charges you 1200 more dollars for pretty much the exact same thing with less harddrive space.

and the exploding batteries were apples fault since they went with the cheapest instead of testing them all to see what would work best.

WTF?!

is sony obsessed with 20%?!
20% brighter
20% more contrast
20% faster

now heres the kicker
old one is selling for 20% off!!!! $280 compared to $350
LOOK! on the side, there is no mention of a core on a "Xbox 360" which has a 20gb hdd.

probably what will be this holiday:

$230 Arcade
$300 Xbox 360 (what it will be called. used to be premium)
$350 Elite
it has 4 SKU's

Core
Premium
Halo3 (which i dont know if it counts as an SKU since ya know)
Elite

TBH not that bad.
dude, this thing is pointless...

Sony, UMPC Flipstart
core solo 1.3ghz 1ghz pentium M
1Gb of ram 512gb of ram
40gb hdd 30gb hdd
slim sleek, touch screen ugly ass design

sure the sony cost like $300 more, but it is so much better and sexy looking
it was like

ATT -> SBC - AT&T

ATT -> Cingular -> AT&T

crazy

"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
