Fanboys: Copy paste is very useful for everything from copying information between e-mails to copy/pasting URLs into messages and, especially vital to me, receiving multimedia messages from Verizon, etc friends that require username/password to access on AT&T. Sprint would automatically log me in to view the multimedia messages. With AT&T, you have to provide a lengthy, alphanumeric username and password. Really sucks having to go back and forth between browser and text message to provide this just to view a little picture that can't even be saved.
Ever since updating to 2.1, every time I plug my 3G iPhone into my G5 iMac, I get a warning; "incompatible accessory, turn on airport mode?" Real funny, Apple.

Also, anyone that actually supports the absurd backup process (extreme length of time it takes to complete every time), needs to get a clue. Stop being a fan boy and recognize turning off backup is ridiculous when Apple should just fix the problem to begin with. 2.1 shaved maybe 10-15 minutes off of the total backup time. It is still taking way too long. Learn incremental backups, Apple.thx
Backup times still suck. Better yes, but why on Earth should it take 25+ minutes every time I plug my phone in? At very least, do incremental backups, Apple. Sheesh. Even a backup scheduler would be nice at this point.
This is getting worse and worse. According to this internal memo sent out to AT&T store employees, anyone that actually wants to use Exchange ActiveSync on their iPhone will be forced into the "Enterprise" data plan which reads to be the exact same service as the consumer/personal data plans, but $15 more per month.

That's a whopping $45 per month just for data. Evil.

Please let me know if the 3G iPhone 2.0 firmware supports subfolders for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. I need to know if I can use subfolders as they are critical for my business. Thank you.
I need to know if the 3G iPhone 2.0 firmware will support Exchange subfolders. This is critical to my business as under my inbox I have about 30 subfolders each with client's data that gets auto-sorted using Exchange rules. I have to use this service to keep my mail straight or it's just a mess to handle on the go.

If anyone knows if the iPhone can support subfolders please let me know. Otherwise, I'll ride the wait out for the Touch Pro. Thank you!
Who knew? Anyone that's been following the "tech world" over the last decade would have fond memories of a shattered, priceless ferrari, a child pornography ring centered around a tech executive, numerous gay sexual assaults and intimidation suits, and more. Read F*dCompany archives for the real dirt.
Asus, you're ruining a good thing. Keep your prices low. Stop flooding the marketing with confusing models. Simplify your offerings. And for *'s sake, make black available on launch days.
LMAO: Ed (Palm) says iPhone users will say things like, "Wow, I want to IM on a tiny keyboard... I want to step up to that next generation product [Centro]."
Watch the presentation live here:

Also, Sprint just launched the Centro website:

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
