I'm calling Snak a Skam. At least Codeweavers had the decency to go from midnight to midnight. My email of denial is even dated 11/05/08 11:09pm almost an hour before midnight. Jerks!
already bought it and none to happy. Paid extra for 2-3 day shipping.... don't bother, it's still taking a week to get here. They are shipping from China, and it took them 3 days to ship out a stock mackbook. Was listed as a "custom config" What the heck is custom about the base unit config.

So we have a new build process that is supposed to be more efficient, they are using less materials (I read lower cost), and yet we are paying 1-2 hundred more than the last version, then to get slow shipping service. OMG.. What a ripoff, oh and not to mention no Firewire or TDM. Thanks Steve... and you didn't even buy dinner.

I'd remove windows and load linux, then immediately go to Engadget and read the cool news.

Pleazzzzzzzze
And just like that it's gone.
I've looked at all the links to the ATT site and there is no page there.
Yesterday I saw it, but they were "out of stock". So today I tried to
go back from my browser history and figured I had messed up.

Nope, none of the engadget page links, nor the once in the comments work today.
I guess someone felt a draft from being so open, so they closed that door. ;D

Pleeeezeee I need a new watch. :)
Come on we're talking pre-rev1.0. Remember the first laptops weren't the hot sleek babes that Apple is putting out these days either. Plus they are in Beta which means make suggestions, not just "that looks a little funny". I for one can't wait to get my hands on that little darling. ;)

But did you see the second video? Now that was funny... I had milk coming out my nose. :D

I'll take any of the anyway. :)

Please pick me, pick me.
Hey I'd happily take 3rd place. :)
I could use a bronze tan before winter.

Please!?!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
